William Russell

Launched in 1992 as family-run company, William Russell is a specialist provider of insurance plans for expatriates. WR has a wide range of health plans, and enjoy a good reputation as thanks to their affordable premiums and good customer care. WR is one of the few providers to also provide income protection and life insurance plans, making it a good choice for expatriates who like a all-in-one solution.

William Russell administers its plans and pays claims from offices in the United Kingdom and Malaysia. Its plans are underwritten by Hauteville Insurance Company Limited, a subsidiary of AGF, one of France’s leading insurance companies and part of the Allianz Insurance Group.

I quite like WR. They have a Malaysian offices (where I live), are underwritten by a French Assurance (Where I was born), and their servicing is very responsive.
